Menopause
Acupuncture can be a great tool to support your body as it goes through the physical and emotional changes that can come with menopause. It is common for people to experience insomnia, changes in mood, irregular and heavier periods, hormonal headaches, hot flashes, and night sweats.
Typical treatment plan
Often the transition from perimenopause to menopause can stretch over a number of years; in order to manage your symptoms as they present, it can be important to keep up with regular treatments, and increase the frequency in proportion to what you are feeling. We might recommend bi-weekly treatments, with an increase to 2 or 3 times a week if you are having a spell of insomnia or suddenly start to experience hot flashes. Once the symptoms are under control again you can return to your regular maintenance schedule.
Committing to regular long term care can be intimidating for many, but at The Acupuncture Hub we try and make it as easy as possible. We have a sliding scale, so your payments can reflect your resources at the time, and our team holds a 7 day a week schedule so you can easily book for the most convenient time for you.
